closing in on james, a second a lap.. lets see if he can real him in..
I think a perfect season in SX is alot harder to achieve then outdoors.

If he wins out for the remaining rounds we'll give it to him anyway...with an asterix next to it!

After years and years of racing, Reed has NEVER EVER beat Stewart. Stewart was out front and cruising in not the best conditions. Reed is doing everything he can to catch him. Had it been the other way, and Stewart gets a bad start, you will see Stewart do what he needs to do and run down Reed and pass him.... like he has done countless times before
I like Stewart more than Reed, but Reed did beat him strait up last year at the beginning of the SX season.

Reed was also the only rider to hit a 59 sec lap time 2x in the main last night. Stewart on went 59 once and Reed closed the 12 sec gap to 3 by the end.

Villopoto is going to smoke em all when he gets dialed in anyway's!!!!!!!!!

Should it not be fair game. There was a field day when Lawrence missed. He made n irrational statement so I countered with one.

The comment that the guy made before me warranted that response. He has yet to beat James or Chad so how is he supposed to suddenly smoke them?

I'm with ya Scott, no point arguing though, let the riders to the talking and at the moment James is getting the wins, does that mean Reed can't or never will, i highly doubt it despite what these opinions say.

Reed has the speed, has the fitness but at the moment lacking the one thing James is getting each week - the start.

Reed's bad starts is making James look good. I only hope for some holeshots for Chad and lets see the battle!

how funny is a comment that James is "just playin" with Reed. Come on. These guys can both run each others speed and are far faster than anyone else on the track. AS soon as Reedy does not run into bad luck on the start we are going to have another A1 scrap!!! Cant wait!
I really don't think so. Will admit it was like that @ A1, but JS's bike wasn't working well & has gotten much better since the opener. Now he's like the old JS, on cruise control, unless he needs to go faster.

It was reported in Australia last year that he earned something like $10 million dollars, in 2007, wasn't it? my figures may be off by a bit but he was definitely up there for top sports earners, and has been for a few years. Yeah, losing the titles to j.s. is probably easier to take knowing you probably more cash in the bank than you know what to do with.
Pretty good bank for a guy who only rode one series and got his ass kicked all year.

With all due respect Chad and James were only about 2 feet from each other in the first turn last week. Chad is ripping but to say his bad starts are what is making James look good is a stretch

I used to love to watch Mike LaRocco outdoors around the '01 time frame - if he got the holeshot (rare), he'd wind up third or fourth; if he was 30th at the end of the first lap, he'd wind up third or fourth.

I remember somebody saying (the season does not start until Daytona). I wonder who said that? Chad can win.

As a fan i never forgot that. A very cocky move that i did not like. I love Stewarts riding style but i hope reed wins this title. Maybe that move he pulled will come full circle on his side this time.

key word there is history. Since then he went undefeated in mx and his crash at A1 wasnt from riding over his head.......I'd say he's doing things a bit smarter
there isnt a guy lined up in an sx main that hasnt come close to augering it in at any given time so the "he's come close" argument is baseless.

same for me dude ...could never be a real fan of james since that day.
never kick a dog when you have it down.

he's an amazing rider and doesn't need to do that shit. as well as crashing into guys as well...although this year he's going good on the "hospitalise your competitor" scorecard.

You have to remember....Reed had made a lot of comments leading up to that saying that he was just as fast and if he could get a holeshot he could win.
that probably fired stewart up and led to the "pullover"

Man that was an Awesome move on Stewart end, I wish he would do it again. Im hoping Reed gets the holeshot this week and Stewart starts in 6th or so...just so that when Stewart scrubs and boggs past Reed and takes the win anyway, (like he has done countless times), we can put this conversation to bed.Whistling
