Then i have to agree with haydos25. Im not sure why Vital is having a meltdown over this whole Dungey/Musquin/KTM thing when this other stuff is occurring. It's way more embarrassing for the sport than team tactics. That's just my opinion, though.

I agree there should be a larger points spread between 1st and 2nd to reward riders going for the win. In fact - stop giving points past 3rd place. Podium or bust.

The sport has seen many far more embarrassing moments than this.

And I don't recall any out loud crying from anyone other than Dungey fans on vital about the Reed incident. Dungey appeared to move on pretty quickly
dungey called out reed infront of the media and started the whole discussion which for me wasn't a problem if dungey felt that reed was doing it on purpose BUT then to go on and use team tactics is pretty poor. I never disliked dungey or musquin, in fact I think marvin has the best riding style out there but, as a fan of the sport that wants to see the two best guys battle it out for the title, I am just very disappointed that it went this way. I mean, dungey would have had the points lead anyways by 6 or so points but then it all got to greedy.

I think you're overthinking everything. Musquin has robbed Dungey of more points this year than "given" him by passing him late in the race. He's a friend to Dungey and he's out of the points race. Dungey isn't responsible for what Musquin decided or how Tomac imploded last week.

musquin was simply better than dungey in a hand full races. that has nothing to do with robbing points. friends or not. it's a race not charity.
