Just speculation, but I would assume Dale Jr's departure from NASCAR would help the motocross industry.
Let's be honest their ratings aren't getting any better and him leaving will not help.
Moto continues to show impressive number regarding the 18-45 age group. as well as TV and ticket sales.
I know upper level marketing for some of these companies has to be looking at this and considering putting their logo on the side of a shroud or semi.
You would assume companies like Bass Pro Shop, Gander Mountain, Dicks, and Camping World could find value for their investment into motocross.
Just a thought

I really think we need a few more camera angles that highlight how intimidating some of the sections are. Nascar races have a camera EVERYWHERE. We need top riders wearing HD helmet cameras that can be shown live.
When I'm watching races with friends that don't ride they get bored of it pretty easily. They have no perspective of how insane it is to even roll these tracks let alone race them.
Also look at dale jr.'s retirement announcement compared to how James Stewart is handling his. Everything is so minor league in MX
More or less the "Camping World Kawasaki team rider just won the LCQ" kind of TV mention.
And regarding the cameras closer to the track, I have always wanted those cameras eye level with the riders.
Like eye level coming through the whoops to watch Tomac pass Dungey this weekend would have been awesome.
Not sure why so many on this forum want to mimic a struggling enterprise. Yeah, I know "Big Bill didn't have a problem..." Okay, but Bryan ain't his daddy and Sears isn't a leading retailer any more. Bigger isn't always better.

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.

With 5-10% or more growth annually sponsors will come
With racing like last Saturday night, anything is possible
Just looking for their sponsors to fund a team or group of riders to offer more support to riders.
Just like his father, vendors will still sell his stuff and people will still buy it. There won't be a day that you wont see a Dale Sr or Dale Jr shirt, hat, flag or whatever in the vendor trailers at a race.

Just some minor changes can get more sponsor exposure and more hype going before the start. It's not rocket science.
How many ride dirt bikes?
Be careful what you wish for...
Pit Row
Tell me some kids wouldn't see the newest TLD helmet or alpinestars boots on a nice display and think I don't know what the hell those are for but I want them.
Let kids see that Moto isn't just about riding down the ditch on a crap bike in work boots and jeans. You get to dress like some kind of superhero.
You've got to offer the big dogs an "experience".
The really big sponsors are spending shareholders money, not their own.
guess Circle K figured that moto guys aren't in their demographic or would be worthwhile marketing to?!??!?! until something changes, nothing will change..............Nascar aint quite the dead horse ya'll think, and SX isn't the unicorn corporate is looking for
