Purchase Price: $2000 (March 2017)
Motor was completely rebuilt (10 hours on it) when i bought it.
Rest of the bike was in decent shape but chassis was neglected.
Took it down to frame an motor and completely rebuilt it.
She runs incredible! Need a bit of jetting tweaks. Thinking I might do the Keihin carb swap.

Looks really good! I really.. really love your wheels! Specially the hubs. What seat cover is that? And do you have stock oem suspension, or something else?

Warp9 wheels with blue hubs and Elite rims, they are pretty legit!
Suspension is unknown, Changed the fork oil, seals were good and damping front and rear was good. Figured I would build and ride and consider suspension later.

Yep, 2014 CRF250 rear caliper and disc guard. Exact fit, you just get black instead of natural. Also have a 2014 CRF250 front fender and number plate conversion. The more you dig into these, the more you realize that there are alot of interchangeable parts (NOT the front fender/number plate, that is a retrofit but not bad).

Running 13/49 gearing for now.

The more you dig into these, the more you realize that there are alot of interchangeable parts (NOT the front fender/number plate, that is a retrofit but not bad).

Running 13/49 gearing for now.
Where did you get the caliper and disk guard in black? My 03 needs those bad.

I bought nearly everything at Rock Mountain ATV and did buy every OEM part from them. I am good friends with the owner of Warp9 so got totally hooked up on all that stuff.

Here are the guards, they are cheap too:

Forgot the seat. That is a complete SDG High Foam seat replacement, not a cover. I am 6'6" and need all the help I can in that department!

It doesn't look a whole lot taller than stock through the middle section. When you compared them side by side, was there much in it? Looking to get one of these also.

Had the stock tired seat on it. Raise is maybe 3/4" but I really like the super stiff foam (stock was really soft). Between the slight height change and firm foam, first ride on it yesterday, I definitely noticed a positive result for me? Again, I am 6'6", and I will take all I can get all I can get! Also added bar risers and CR High bend bars. Foot peg position seems to be right at stock. Might look at a bit more room with some lower pegs that are on the market. For now, I am good.

NOTE: I am an ex roadracer of many years and very sensitive to minor position changes on a motorcycle. With that said, I am not sure how others might notice small changes?

I'm about 6'2" so looking for a little more room also. I currently have the newer CRF pegs on mine which have been a great improvement from stock but thinking of trying the Fastway pegs in the low position. Thanks for the replies!
