I must of missed it, what was wrong with the husky axle?
Ease of alignment and bling unless you are Dungy. Go back a page and I explain. It is supposed to "free up" the rear suspension but I think that works for like 10 of the fastest dudes in the world and not for regular Joes.

No problem. Was that axle block for a crf? Hope well does it fit the KTM swing arm hard to tell in the pic.

Yes the axle block is for a CRF, it's a Yoshimura works axle block. We installed the axle/axle block on my buddies '16 KTM today, it fits like like stock, but no test ride yet.

Man the Dal Soggio Sphere kit just keeps impressing me! We have an early season OHV area which we call the rut, it's just a beat out whooped out 8 min single track loop and the bike just kills it. Super stoked how well it's working, now if I could ride my self back in to shape faster than we would be all good!! Lol

Upgraded the radiator cap to a 2.0 instead of the stock 1.8, I have had great luck with this in the past. Also changed my fuel cap line out.
Purchased a full 4.1 RCT Titanium FMF exhaust with a megabomb header as well that shipped today, the FMF slip on my bike is from a 2013 KTM 350 SXF so it does not fit perfectly where the slip on meets the header. Found that out after I bought the bike

Hell fucking yes!! Got the FMF full 4.1 installed and it sounds so god damn sweet! Kinda surprised it's a LOT louder than the stock header and '13 FMF 4.1 slip on for a KTM 350 SXF that was on the bike. As for weight loss as it being the Titanium header is not very much lighter compared to stock, Comparing them in my hands maybe a wee bit lighter.

Man the bike looks awesome! It's amazing how much of the same ideas were on my bike before finding yours! Digging the '16 front end set up but I do like the looks of the '15 stock Huskys. Have you tried taking the top 2 bolts out of the subframe? If you take the top bolt out of the subframe on each side it makes the bike handle way better imo. It may just be in my brain or whatever, but I swear doing that gave my bike much more rear end traction, since it lets the subframe flex more! Good looking bike though, keeping an eye on it!

Really liking the low end to mid range gain from the full FMF exhaust. A bit better down low for sure, I can bring from down low in the RPM in any gear much better, and far less clutch work in the tight/technical.
Looks pretty damn awesome as well.

Installed the new Nihilo billet gas cap and I am stoked how it looks! Going to look real bitching with the blue Emig V2 lock on grips, pretty pumped for the look.

I have been riding tons and got one race in since my last post soooo not much bike building lately. Bike has met my expectations plus more!!!
I have purchased a couple items lately. New Boyesen super cooler water pump, TMD factory edition 2 chain guide, new FMF Husqvarna 4.1 sticker since I wasted mine and some more Titanium bolts from Racetech Titanium since I am silly vet racer.
It's starting to get really hot in Colorado so we have been shredding our stand up jet skis as well. Besides the bike and row machine a stand up jet ski could be the best training tool. My wife has a damn near perfect 1991 Kawasaki Superstock 550sx and I have a mild modded 1994 Kawasaki 750sx.

I Beat on her good over the summer. Great bike IMO! Added more parts throughout the summer but the Neken SFS triple clamps was the big one. Going to have to go full pro and weld a mount like Jason Anderson did to run my Honda steering stabilizer so that will be a winter project.

Living in the Colorado high country and being less than 4 hours to Moab makes the riding around here epic AF! I can leave my front door on the to some of the best single track/ off road in Colorado, but if your into tracks they are a little harder to find around here but they are around for sure.

Edit: I see your from Wisconsin, my wife was born and raised in Oconomowac Wisconsin on the lake. I would love to shred your state one day

Showa dampner? Nice.

Yes sir! IMO it’s an amazing upgrade, mine has a Racetech gold valve and revalved for off road.

Thanks! The 18.5 Husky RE sure has my eye but those side plate look so damn bad not sure it will happen.

Each version since KTM took over, the Husky plastics have been good, and gotten better when replaced.

This 4th gen plastics on the RE are the first step backwards.

The RE tho has one really good thing going for it and it’s that OEM skid plate. Which likely has such a better mounting system than anything aftermarket. I loved how easy my 2014 FE350 was to remove for washing the bike.

Stainless steel engine bolt kit installed.. much better than the rusted out ones
P3D airbox filters installed.
Hit the the mid pipe with a torch to clean it up and have it match the rest of the pipe.
Sealed the head so oil won’t sweep out the head any more.
