How the hell does Herlings even hold onto the bike with his hand plated up like it is? I'd probably still be in bed eating Motrin and whining, and that damn savage is out riding a motorcycle faster than 99.999% of the motorcycling world can even imagine going.

Ya Herlings is gnarly for sure. I'm convinced his super wide girthy neck is the secret to his speed, he probably gets unreal stablization with that thing.

Strijbos still has speed, the counties championships are fantastic for many reasons but fan contact and having the big boys ride your local tracks is why European fans are serious and knowledgeable

I've said it before and i'll say it again Herlings is still not 100% healthy.
He's just not blaiming it on his hand, he knows for damn sure his hand is holding him back but does not want to be painted off as a excuses maker for why he is not upfront and battling for wins in the gp's.
You can clearly see that on this video he is so much faster than he is now. There would be no-one close to him on a Sand track normally, now he barely beat Nagl

That is my nightmare as a rider, somehow even worse than actually cross rutting because you have no idea what is going to happen in that situation. You know what is going to happen if you cross rut and it can be saved but going between two huge ruts on a sand track is like playing russian roulette.
