KTM User Settings tool

I was thinking about monkeying around and buying the KTM user settings tool for my 2016 350SX. I only thought about it with all this fuel talk, everyone has me curious how room for improvement there is.

Anyone ever tried it, or bought it? Anyone know the part number or link for 2016?

I downloaded the free software from a KTMs website. Looking for people's experience with using it, is it worth it?

I had it and used it. It allows for a lot of flexibility, and maybe a bit overkill for the average rider as the ignition can get out of control quickly.

Might be better to grab a vortex which is what I did. Quick fuel adjustments and a few different ignition maps to choose from.

I think I am using the traction map mostly , and with the 365 kit on my 350, a bit more fuel (a click or two ).

Does a single tuning software exist that supports all the brands? Seems each manufacturer has their own. Is that all that is offered?

I sold my UST many moons ago. The vortex is a bit more expensive, but also a bit easier to use. Just turn some clickers to add or subtract fuel. Can't adjust the ignition curve but the preset maps give a good range of adjustment already.

Depends on the electronics of the EFI and the manufacturers requirements.

Ok but that doesn't really answer the question. Does it exist or not? In the car world for example theres software like HP Tuners and EFI Live that supports tuning for multiple car manufacturers. I've done a little searching and can't find anything like this for dirt bikes. Only found software offered by each individual manufacturer for their own bikes and found it odd that a shop that modifies and builds bikes would have to buy a separate software for every brand they work on in order to be able to do custom mapping rather than having a motorcycle equivalent of HP Tuners that will support all brands.

My friend have small shop and he have tool (PC software) that he can diagnose and adjust pretty much all modern bikes and maps. Not sure what is name of program but seems more useful than just KTM or Kawasaki mapping program.
