Randy Losh

Hello,
I'm Randy Losh's daughter and in honor of him being the best dad I could ever ask for I'm putting together memorabilia of his legendary race days for Father's day. I need help gathering photos and any articles with his name in it. I would appreciate anyone's help with this. Thank you so much for your help. I know he will enjoy going down memory lane.

You sound like a great Daughter. I personally have never heard of your Father. Maybe a little info on when and where he raced would be helpful to people who might have raced with him.

edit~ according to The Vault he raced pro in 1978-79 on a Maico

Thank you for your help. I talked to Andy through Facebook already, I'm hoping my mom can find them for me. I was hoping for more. I appreciate you responding so fast.

Thank you very much! I don't know much ah that sounds bad but I'm hoping to learn more while making this for him. I know he raced with danny magoo and raced Euro-cycles and raced for Jan Houseman.

I found a video of the 1979 Canyon Raceway National that your Dad raced in. Maybe there's a shot of him in it.

Your dad was an awesome rider, one of the top D36 Experts in NorCal back in the 70's. He raced with Magoo, Schultz, Danny Turner, Jodry, and Bobby M. (who's on this forum) for many years. They had some great battles especially at Plymouth. Hopefully Bobby M. reads this and has some pictures or information. Good luck in your search. That's a great thing to do for your dad by the way.

This means so much to me! Thank you! I'm going to print this out and put it in the boom I'm making. He will love it to see this.

Randy was a D-36 (NorCal) fast guy. Guys like Kevin Henry, Charlie Marshall, Delno Becker, Danny Turner, David Wood, Eddie Brown, Brian Jodry, Dave Coupe, Pat Wilson, Ken Sisler.

Raced with Magoo, Pat Richter, Charles Holcomb, Donnie Cantoloupi (?), Bobby Meyers and others, too.

I remember him on a Bultaco but I could be wrong.

Here's his national results from the RacerX Vault

Her dad sounds like a certifiable badass for sure!! And take Bobbym at his word...he's been there and done it too. My pops raced back in the day , but not at that level. You should be very proud. Takes serious commitment to make it to that level , no matter when it was.
