Usually i wouldnt have given a damn about getting a refund but i was so freaking angry at the time. Coming home from a party, pretty drunk and watching that laggy crap i wrote a not so nice email to them lol.
Good that they took responsibility.
If you think that Feld, or any other entity involved with supercross gets money directly from Fox's ad spots, you just have no clue how broadcasting or sports promotion works. Fox makes money selling ads and they pay Feld for broadcasting rights. Fox is only going to pay Feld a percentage of their ad revenue, obviously
Now, Feld can then sell their allotted promotional space and billboard space (tuff blocks and signage) to other entities (like Monster Energy) to increase their income.
ad spots are probably from 20-25k per minute for an audience as small as supercross. there are about 14 minutes of ad space per hour.
out of that 14 minutes, a good percentage is self promotion for Monster Energy Supercross. Which they actually pay Fox for, or it is included in their contract in some way. So, now you have money going back to Fox, from Felds bottom line.
do the math...and then when your done, realize that none of that matters, because Feld is not a streaming provider. Whatever company owns the streaming service is just paying Fox and /or Feld for the rights, just like Fox does from Feld. It's on the streaming provider to make sure the stream is working...obviously.
Of course it's in Feld's best interest that streaming works well, but I just think it's small potatoes. Either way, Feld doesn't pay for the streaming service, so why would they pay to fix it or make it better?

Pit Row
This is the biggest fucking scam i've ever seen. I paid almost 300 bucks for the season pass (i live in Brazil), and haven't been able to watch a single race. Even at 270p the fucking thing freezes up every 15 seconds, i have a 60mb connection and the damn thing is just impossible to watch.
Someone should seriously sticky this. People are straight up getting scammed.
