If I could see a song living, it would have to be LSD someone slipped in my drink.

I would sing whatever I wanted to if I could sing like Bing Crosby.

It was, Scatterbrain was pretty intense too.

I was lucky enough to see SRV around the local scene before he got big, so I'd have to say maybe Jimi playing the Star Spangled Banner, Maybe Lowell George doing "Dixie Chicken" one more time, or Dwayne Allman playing....Anything.

Never got to see Jimi, a little before my live show time.

Dean, love 'Little T & A' - seems like yesterday that came out, makes me feel old.

Funny you posted that though, I was watching VH1 just now and they played the video for 'Far Away Eyes'. I hadnt heard that tune since I cant remember when,,, steel guitar and all.

Seen most of them. I haven't ever been to a Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler gig which would be awesome to see. Also, Allman Bros doing something like Elizabeth Reed or Whippin Post when they were all alive would be something (as long as Betts just played it short and sweet and didn't try make you listen to his jammin for an hour)..

Jimi was awesome. Saw him outdoors in Hawaii in 69'. Love Little Feat & saw SRV every time he came remotely close to the SF Bay Area. Good choices. Totally envious of you & that Crossroads concert. Got the DVD & play it alot.

I'll agree with you there - awesomely powerful song -

I was just getting into Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1977. I remember exactly where I was when we found out about the crash - Larry and I were over at a neighbor of his, developing some 35mm film we had shot of us riding -

It's been never for me. I would give an arm to see Zep up close with Bonham doing Misty Mountain Hop or In My Time of Dying. Nothing like them has come along since...

yeah , one of the great Keith intro riffs- think what you want about the Stones, but damn if Keith didn't know how to get a song STARTED
