That was used on the 82 YZ100, 125, 250, 490, IT200 and the 83 YZ100 and IT200.

It was a stopgap suspension system that allowed Yamaha to add a rising rate linkage to their old monoshock design.

Yeah, I think I read somewhere where the aluminum linkage arms from the 82' 125 will bolt right onto the YZ100 frame without any or much modification. So will the 125 swingarm, which has obviously been done on this 100.
