2014 vs 2017 250SX parts fit

Anybody know if a silencer will exchange between the two bikes? In particular I'm interested in the PC R304.

I would guess that it does not fit. The 14 to 17 was a full makeover.

It won't fit, I ordered one for a '17 and had one for a '16 sent by accident. Was wondering what the heck I was doing wrong when trying to put it on, then I read the packaging.

I have done a great deal of fitment check as I had a 2016 KTM 250SX and when I went to build that new Husky I found that virtually nothing does work. However the 2017 even has a different kickstarter BUT the Hammerhead one for the 14-16 does work. If you have a question on something in particular let me know and I can check my notes to see if I tried it or not.

On the 250SX Going from 2016 to 2017 is a new design bike.

2017 was the 1st year for the 250SX to get the new frame that the 125, 250SXF & 450SXF had in 2016.

The reeds fit, not the block but the reeds are the same. Mine were warped from the factory so that's how I figured that out. Piston is the same and so are head gaskets.
