2016 crf250 fork swap

Anyone know if any spring forks will swap right into the 2016 crf250?
Or does anyone know what the cheapest way to get a spring cartridge in the fork?

Any 2010-2014 CRF250 or 2009-2012 CRF450 spring fork will slide right in.............

Any CRF250R fork from 2010-2014 or 2009-2012 450 Fork. Swapping in Cartridges is time consuming and expensive. You would need cartridges, springs, bottoming cones. It's a process and depending on if your able to remove the fork lugs without damaging the threads in the lugs or the threads on the fork legs it could get turn out to be even more costly. Best to get another set of forks. 2010 250 Showa fork had the best internals. 2009-2010 450 KYB Forks were the best internals for that fork. One member had a new set of Showa Spring forks available off the 2017 450R a week or so ago. I think he was asking $1200. I have a set of 2009 450 KYB forks with about 10 hrs. since full rebuild/revalve for sale. Forks have 40 or less hours since new. I got them from a Vet he barely rode the bike and then parted it out. I'm selling the bike and putting the Air forks back on.

arent the 2010 forks 48mm and the 2016 crf250 forks 49mm?

The diameter of the lower tubes has nothing to do with the diameter of the clamping surface of the upper tubes.

Your 16 forks will work on 09-16 crf450 and 10-17 CRF250s and vice versa. Clamps are the same. Even heard Justin Brayton say on the PulpMX show that the clamps are the same on the new 17 crf450.
