You guys think there will be a run on ammo like 2012? Back then .380 and .22 were gone off the radar for some time.

Im not a hoarder, but have been needing to restock my ammo-safe after a summer of shooting at the range, so figured Id go ahead get what I was already gonna get anyway. (my boy is getting his 5.56, 7.62 & .308 stuff today also)

I just got a couple more 1000 rounds as well.... It's not like it'll go bad... Wink

I just ordered last night. No good reason to not have another 1K rounds of assorted calibers on hand.

I am still searching for 218 Bee rounds for the Model 43 Winchester my Grandfather gave me 30 years ago. It's a great groundhog gun but finding ammo is nearly impossible. Apparently Winchester only makes batches every so often. And, it is really $pendy to buy when you can find it.

Looks like some high end defense ammo you are stocking up on there. Keep an eye on SGAmmo, AIM Surplus and Massammo.com for some really good prices on your practice ammo and shipping rates. Every time I see a price drop I'll pick up a case or two.

I'm stocked pretty deep on all the calibers I need for future fun so lately I've been focusing on higher quality match grade ammo myself.

Stored properly, it should last a very very long time.

Lots of surplus ammo dates back 40-50 years. I just put mine in sealed ammo cans, sometimes toss in a dessicant pouch and store them all on shelves. I have a shooting buddy who just has his all in cardboard boxes in his shop which is climate controlled.

Just voted a big NO on 63 in CA today. But I don't think it's going to make any difference. These guys are hell bent on making sure only a handful of people outside law enforcement will have guns or ammo. Oh, and criminals of course. I see a growing black market as a result of these laws.

I guess they weren't able to cram thru all the legislation they wanted in July so they put it on the ballot. Will need a $50 permit and 30 day background ck to get on a list to buy ammo. Can't loan or store a weapon with someone without filing paperwork. Can't buy ammo out of state and bring it back. Magazine restrictions aND a bunch of other stuff. Who can keep track of all this shit on top of what we got. I guess that's the point is to make it to complicated and cost prohibitive to be in compliance.

The legislation in July was pushed by Kevin De Leon prop 63 is Gavin Newsome's initiative. This two are trying to steal each others thunder for the govenor's mansion when Brown's term is up.

One more thing to at least be aware of with the old Berdan primer milsurp ammo (Eastern Bloc), is the threat of corrosion. Clean fairly quick after shooting and you'll be fine.

You poor fuggers can't even go to the range shooting with your buddy and loan him a box of ammo anymore. Can't order online, can't buy it out of state and take home, have to pay for a ammo license? All this true? No grandfathered standard high capacity mags?

I might be wrong but I think the magazide law that was grandfathered is gone or at least they were trying in July or with prop 63 but not 100 % sure. What I'm wondering is if your from out of state and want to hunt in ca, or carry how do you do that . Was that addressed?

Curious to see how they would enforce going to Nevada buy ammo. Everyone I know has gone there and bought 30 round mags already.

LMAO. I have one 380, my reasoning is it gives you no excuse to ever be unarmed. Shorts, summer, work, whatever you can carry that tiny bastard.
