Numerous layoffs, fired the Dallas call center, and a few more challenges. Their focus needs to be on their core business and perhaps not a race team. New president not a dirt fan so writing was on the wall for the team.
Yeah I'd say the fact that the MAG group (Tucker Rocky/MCSS) is in major financial distress is the biggest reason it ended. Honestly I was surprised that they did the deal last year with what's going on with them. Sucks because I hate seeing any teams close down. It's cool that it sounds like Jimmy is still putting something together.

Major financial distress may be an overstatement. Certainly struggling and down year over year and trying to recover. Some great folks there, so I hope it works out. It appears to have been taken over by a leader with little to contribute to the vision of the future.

Not at all, hence the departure from racing. They will figure it out however, or at least I hope they do. There are some great people on the retail side, of course they're outnumbered by the d'bags it seems. I'd rather hope for the best than the alternative for any employer even considering their significant shortcomings.

I certainly didn't read this whole thread. But I've heard rumors that Albertson's team had everything lined up to get the factory Suzuki 250 effort. But one small problem, the team would need to run Yoshimura exhaust. Jimmy, being a loyal guy, didn't want to switch from FMF. So the deal fell thru.

I also heard that MSS might end up with RCH.

Time will tell I guess.
