thanks for posting this have watched them all very nice tracks I've seen along the way ( Gopher dunes) not sure how to spell it but that tracks looks amazing something i would like to see Herlings ride on
I agree Andy! That's pretty much how all our local tracks are prepped for race day or practice days here. Why they have to till all the USA national's 2' deep and make them into a huge rut fest....i have no idea. i dig quite a few of the Canadian tracks.

Yeah i like the tracks Canada has to offer: Dechambault, Regina , Wild Rose , Wastelands and Gopherdunes r all tracks i would love to ride. i do think the watering can be a little bit better on the hardback tracks to keep the dust down more but overall i really like how they prep the tracks.

I also was a little surprised with Dakota Alix that he's able to run upfront and be able to win there as he was struggling to get into top 20 in europe. Is the difference/Level off the lites class is so big compared to USA and Europe based upon what I've seen so far? Or am i so delusional that i don't know what i'm talking about or that i'm missing something.

Definitely a big difference in speed as far as competitors I think. I think Alix has also gained a little speed , but I also think besides a couple of the front runner's in MX2 , that class is a little weak? The MX1 class up there though seems to be pretty stacked. Seeing Kaven Benoit ride up there on the 450 was something I hadn't seen before watching him at the MXoN's race , and was surprised at how fast that dude is on a big bike. Then watching the Canadian rounds ( which I finished watching round 6 last night ) I can slowly see him getting faster and faster. When we all saw him at the MXoN's race , it shows that the series up north does have some seriously fast dudes in there , as he put in some solid rides at the MXoN's race. Kinda shows how much Davi was really on it too. I still stand by what I said a month or so leading up to the MXoN's ,and that I thought Davi would have been a good pick for the USA team....I still think that , even though Anderson put in a hell of a ride.

Considering the seemingly ease Millsaps dominated the most rounds i think that too, Although i think that team Canada could have send Cole Thompson as the mx2 rider instead of Shawn and maybe Clason instead of Medaglia as he shined on the harder tracks

I can understand why but Davi can't keep himself interested enough to run up front consistently

I " think " Cole was injured before MXoN's if I remember correctly? Also Cade is an American so I don't think he would of been able to do the MXoN's race for Canada. Cole would of definitely been a great pick in MX2 though , as everything I've seen so far ( up to round #6 ) pretty much dominating that series.

Possibly. But he seemed pretty damned interested in the Canadian series. At least what I've seen so far. Almost like he was trying to prove a point or something.

Does anyone know if Davi is running SX this next year?

I like Davi's comment at one point ( i like it here you don't have to be a robot here like back at home)
it was something in that line and the smile i've seen him getting round after round that he was actually happy with the canadian series.

Yeah I caught that too. It's nice seeing him have fun and ride well like he did up there. Now I'm all excited about watching the rest of these rounds. Man , some really good racing up there!

@ Mach6972......good to hear! I'd like to see him do well in SX again.

TeamGreen -Curious if you have any insight just curious how well Davi got paid for going to Canada, taking several wins and ultimately the championship. From the interviews Ktm wanted him up there it wasn't his first choice just curious really. A championship here is worth big bucks but up north? Not sure!?

Hey, Dude, Thanks for posting. I enjoyed watching the whole series. I love the style of the Canadian series. Much like the Vibe that was American Motocross back in the 80s.

He didn't have anything going in the US: his BTO/KTM deal (Butler Bros Racing) was SX only.

The boss at KTM USA asked Davi of he'd go to Canada and race. Davi was honored that they'd ask him and that they'd pay him a reasonable amount to do it. How much that is IS NOT my business and as Matt can tell you: my biggest concern is that my guys are happy and that the program they're in is right for them.

The dollars that the guys are getting for CMRC are pretty good and the real ringer is this: the OTSFF Yamahas and the JSR KTMs and the GDR Hondas and that little bad-asses Parts Canada Husky are ALL Great Bikes and are ALL Great Programs. The idea that they're "sub-par" to all the US teams is just wrong.

Another thing, I invite ANYONE to ask Davi, Matt, Metty, Mike, Cade or virtually any other Pro* from the US, "How much fun did you have in Canada?"

The smile on their face should be a convincing answer.

*Vince had a ROUGH summer that appears to be from, literally, hitting his head really hard in a few early crashes. He may not smile that much; because, there were days where he'd put down the fastest lap and couldn't get a solid Moto in. I truly think he was a "Concused Athlete" and I was glad when he decided to take a break.

Awesome I didn't mean to pry too far I'm honestly happy for davi that he did "that well." (It's not surprising it was just nice to see him stay injury free and all smiles!) I was happy to hear the amount of respect the announcers have for all the racers as well. Very glad you guys posted these up here and happy to add this to the list to follow!
