Hope it rains sand and wood chips tonight

USA will then feel at home with their ruts...
We lost sending our best in previous years and we mayblose tomorrow as well. Our guys are becoming specialist at rut cross and we need some diversity in terrain to improve our skills. Face it we are getting beat. We lost also with Dungey Barcia Martin which is the A team. To make matters worst we are losing to a German on our home soil.

No sandy private parts..lol
As they say, variety is the spice of life. This notion has become somewhat forgotten in the US.
That said, I wouldn't expect today's races to mirror yesterday's. They'll be pumped up, you better believe it.

for that Dutch dude...I'm praying for quick sand to pour down on his moto

I get your angle, but just remember, yesterday the US team had a shit run of luck from the gate pick to the drama in the races.
Character wins races and in the MXDN a strong sense of team spirit and patriotism wins also.
Win or lose, hey everyone out there will give their best.

I don't see this as a close knit team that pulls together as a team...Anderson probably thinks he should be captain and coop is not tight with the Martain brothers...I question the chemistry of the team..I get your positivity...one thing we have is coopers incredible charges to the finish at the end of Motos

Not sure your perception is too accurate? Coop and Alex get along great, Coop and Jer, not so much. As for Anderson, he is glad to be there and his toes are more of a factor than your guess at his attitude. Don't sweat q races, the real races are tomorrow! And oh yeah, Ando was the fastest qualifier, the speed is there, and he's a tough kid.

I'd expect all the team USA guys to do well at that track, they've all spent time on the hard pack tracks of California.

Bad news. No overnight rain and the weather looks as good today as it did yesterday. The good news for you is that they haven't done the races that matter yet and therefore the USA haven't been beaten yet

Today is a new day and where it matters!

They'll be better and somewhere on the podium!

Most Southern California tracks that the pros ride are sand based (Not Lommel sandy, but they are far from the old clay blue groove of Carlsbad/Saddleback).

Glen Helen-Sand
Pala-Sand
Cahuilla-Sand
Milestone-sand/loam
LACR-sand
212-Sand
Racetown-Sand

Perris-loam/clay
Starwest-loam/clay

Barona-clay/sand section
Comp Edge-clay
Elsinore-clay

Old Clay California Tracks:
Carlsbad
Saddleback
DeAnza
Comp Park
Rainbow
Amago
El Cajon
Ascot

Plus all the old illegal riding areas:
Palm Avenue
Central
Flower Fields
Calavaras

Am I right in saying they've got a better gate pick than yesterday? They all got reasonable starts apart from Ando.
Just keep it on two wheels they are not done yet!

The gate can't be an excuse. We all watched Herlings get the win yesterday from a bad gate.
