So long story short bike for submerged in 5 feet of water at some shitty practice track, motor filled up with water, I am a vet a rider, motor is out gonna split it and clean it. Motor has 43 hours on it so I'm gonna put a new top end in it while it's out. If I put the mild high compression piston in it will the stock crank handle it. Everything is stock except for fmf slipon

I did high comp piston on my 15 KTM 250f with stock crank. The engine builder never recommend I should up grade.

I hate to say, but while you are in there, might be worth the extra money to rebuild everything, replace all the wear parts and rebuild your crank. Put a fresh engine back in that thing...

Did the engine hydro lock? Could have bent the rod and you will never know until Pistons start shattering .
