Maybe a dumb question but how do these mount? Do you have to drill holes and rivet it?

I would think the part comes with a instruction sheet?, If not I would call fmf tech support. I used a pro carbon one on my megabomb header, clean look,

Np man, I might have an extra new one, if you make a decision. When I bought them, I bought 2, wasn't sure on united kingdom shipping. So I got 2. I think retail was like $90 ,close to fmf. But shipping wasn't to bad. I got these before fmf started making theirs.

The FMF ones use the stock mounting points.

At least they do on the Yamahas.

This is on a titanium FMF 4.1 system. I do not know if these mounting holes are where the oem pipe's would be, but I believe they are supposed to be in the exact same spot.

Like others have posted, it uses hose clamps.

After burning a big hole through my pants in a crash I buy one every time I buy a new bike. This product is another reason I buy FMF. Pro Circuit, Bill's, ETC doesn't offer one for their pipes.

Yamaha is different, but the one I had on my KXF450 and now 450 SXF uses hose clamps

I went with an eline on my KTM and it mounted with a hose clamp type set up. Works great and looks pretty sweet too.

They dont make them for the megabomb, only. Fmf,,pro carbon do.

The Mega-Bomb cf guard comes with a bracket that clamps on the the header and the cf gaurd bolts to it.
