Nate Diaz got burned by the judges , no fucking way did he lose that fight against connor . Connor kept disengaging and walking away ,Nate kept pressing the whole fight , biggest bullshit decision i've ever seen.

thought it was close, but Conor def won round 1 and 2, putting Diaz on his ass 3 times,

thought it might end up a majority draw after the second judge called it a draw,

i am not MMA expert but thought Conor won rounds 1 2 and 4, Diaz had 3 easy, and 5 was close, and the take down at the end probably put it to Diaz

I totally disagree. Yes, it was close, but Connor landed way more combinations. Except for round three, I`d say Nate had no chance.

Very close fight. Connor turned it into a points fight, and piled up points with leg kicks and body shots, showed a lot of heart. If Diaz won I would not have understood that also. Very entertaining fight. Bright side is we get to see a trilogy in the future.

Definitely not way more, but Conor did edge him in 4 & 5 according to fightmetric.

All around though, it was a pretty good night of fights. I wasn't expecting Rumble to take Glover out that fast, and I really hope they give Cowboy a shot at Alvarez.

Props to Mcgregor to not allow Nate to take him on carpet. It would`ve been over soon. Connor has no business in being in that class. None. Kudos to him for trying, but imo it`s borderline stupid.

You'll get no argument from me on any of your points.

According to Dana, McGregor's next fight is a title defense against Aldo, and I don't see that ending well for him. Jose isn't one of those fighters who doesn't learn from a loss, and I think he's going to come into this fight like the pound for pound ranked guy he is.

Nick Diaz would have had to pay a 75,000 fine to get in the arena to be in his brothers corner.

That's so fucked. NSAC has such a blatant hard-on for that guy it's not even funny.

Ya i guess ,depending on your definition of fair and square . He was saved by the bell at the end of the third round and finished the fight on his back . The only round i saw he absolutely won was the first round . He constantly disengaged Diaz the whole fight ,walking away and forcing Diaz to chase him around the octagon . I just don't see how any judge could award a win to connor for winning 1 out of 5 rounds.

Maybe fair and square is a bit ovet the top, but imo Diaz won 1 round and Connor 4. I'm no expert when it comes to MMA by no means, but that's what I saw anyway. Connor landed more punches, thus getting the points needed. Walking away a few times isn't that big of a deal.

That could be also ,i always think the guy that stands and bangs the whole time is the one that should win . Nates face was mangled and bloody the whole fight so Connor was doing damage , It can't be easy to score a fight like that from a judges point of view.

McGregor had 1 & 2 without question, and Nate had 3 without question. Where the questions lie is in 4 & 5, and, unfortunately, the judges saw it for McGregor (I thought Nate won them both). I think McGregor's second wind in the fourth is what scored him the most points on the judge's cards, but from a pure fighting standpoint, I don't think he did enough through the last two.

Nate lost the fight when he let it go to the judges. No way in hell was the UFC poster boy losing a decision.

McGregor won't 1, 2 and 4. You could've easily scored the first round 10-8 for Connor. It was one hell of a fight. The last guy I can remember who didn't care what weight he fought at was BJ Penn and it was risky business for Connor to fight Diaz again like he did.

Both guys stock went up in my book.

You can't corner someone when you're suspended.

How many times does the idiot need to test positive for marijuana before he gets it?

It does not matter if it's performance enhancing or your views on it. If they say you can't do it, you can't do it.

There is a lot that goes into judging a fight. If possible, it's best not to leave the decision in the judges hand.

They got it right. No doubt.

Great fight. Looking forward to third.

I cant stand McGregor but I thought he won it but it was close. Dont care for Diaz either but someone had to win, much rather see a tap out or knock out.

Conner faught a smarter fight and won, no two ways about it.

Since when is it bad to turn out in a fight and disengage and regroup and then re-engage? He's fighting a bigger heavier guy with more reach, standing there banging away is insuring defeat. McGregor knew what he had to do this time and went to work.

I had Connor winning rounds 1, 2, and 4. Nate winning rounds 3 and 5. The judge who had a draw most likely had Nate winning rounds 3, 4, and 5, but had Connor win one of the first 2 rounds with a 10-8 score.

like some others in here I had Connor winning 3 rounds and Nate winning 2. Connor handily kicked his ass the first 2 rounds giving him the 2 point edge each time.

great fight, i thought it was almost career suicide for Connor to go up to that weight again, but it worked out for him. now it'll be interesting to see if he goes back to fight Aldo for the belt and if that fight will ever happen. remember, it was like a 2 year in the making when they finally met in the octagon.

3 - 2 Conner, period, end of story. Which sucks cuz i really wanted Nate to take it. Helluva entertaining fight though! The trilogy fight will be at 155, might be awhile though.

How can Diaz say Connor "ran from him" the entire fight...look at his face? Good grief...

(And scar tissue won't cause all that swelling and bruising...the bleeding during the fight, yes...but not the swelling and bruising on his nose and cheeks.)
