Anyone seen it? I'm sold after a couple of episodes. Brings me back to Twin Peaks, Freaks and Geeks, E.T etc. So much 80s around it. Very well produced show with great soundtrack and actors.

I binged them all. The first 1-2 episodes are a little slow. I liked it a lot. Winona Ryder was a good period actress for this series. She was in some classic '80's movies. I read several reviews about her acting in this series and people were raving and calling for Emmy's. Personally, I think she is not a good actress. It always seems like she is trying too hard, like middle school drama. But it works in this series.

Edit: oh yeah, the soundtrack is epic! When is the last time you heard Joy Division in a movie?!

Have you seen Black Mirror?

Loving Stranger Things by the way... everything about it is damn near perfect.

Yeah, it's on Netflix. Couldn't recommend it higher – it's like a modern day version of the Twilight Zone.

It was awesome. My brother and I were just talking about how cool the 80s vibe was. So many throwbacks to when we were kids. I hope the do another season I really enjoyed it.

Fun fact; The town Hawkins and the Sheriff Jim Hopper are a nod to the original predator movie with the two characters Hopper and Hawkins. pretty rad!

Loved it but the ending kinda sucked, don't know if they're leaving it open for more seasons or what but definitely left some questions... Also, never seen that method of cpr work before Laughing

I read where if they have another season it probably would not be a true continuation of this storyline. Really vague though.

i'm currently going through the process of selling my house so i'll be without TV or internet (haven't had internet in a long time), but i'll definitely keep my eye out for this one and Black Mirror.

JWat, what is Shameless about? big fan of Macy

Oh dude, Shameless is good, you'll like it. Dysfunctional drunk dad, no mom, eldest daughter raising the rest of the kids. Hilarious

Oh and I finished Stranger Things last night, what an awesome show! They definitely left the door open for another season. But on the other hand I feel like shows these days all do that regardless. They never know which shows people will like and which ones will be cancelled after one season. Like that Vinyl show on HBO; I thought it was awesome but I guess they cancelled it...

And then there are shows like Making A Murderer; they had absolutely no idea it was going to be such a hit...

Man, I hope Vinyl isn't cancelled it was pure awesome. Preacher on AMC just wrapped up season 1 last night. I'd say give it a try to at least episode 3 or 4 before you dismiss it. It is seriously one of the strangest freaking shows I've ever watched, but entertaining in an odd sort of way. It is also the backstory before they jump into the main story line from the comic. I don't think the story/series is for everyone it's just too strange.

I highly recommend 'The Night of' series on HBO right now. Four episodes deep and it has delivered so far.
