Has anyone ever converted a Class A into a MX Hauler?

I know Outlaw sells them, but they are gas and I have a chance to pick up a Class A diesel pusher at a really fair price.

I was looking at chopping out the back room and turning that into the "Garage", and if I can lowering the garage into the basement are a foot or so to make a loft bedroom above it if the drive line will allow.

Looking to haul 4 bikes with a nice size work area.

Quick crappy drawing for visual idea.

Yes, a friend who is very skilled at it did it for me in Reno. It was great because I could load 3 bikes in lower rear bottom and still had a queen size bed above that cargo area. It was cut from the side like that pic you have with the 4 wheeler on the ramp.

I do but not on this computer. I would have to go through my files. Depending on the rig you choose you will have to just figure it out as you go along. The guy who did mine is very good at that stuff so it was easy for him and I choose the correct rig.

I know, it will require some fabrication.. Just looking for ideas, pictures and personal experience before I move forward.

I spent a little time on google and could not find anything that people have done.. have you ever seen anything online, or in forums?

Thanks

Are you a diesel mechanic or know one well? When my parents were looking for a class a the pushers were low mileage but damn you couldn't tell it looking the engine compartment over. The heat seemed to cook it back there.

I found them a v10 2 valve,very good setup.

Newmar sold them a few years ago.
Why not a small enclosed trailer?
Looking at the space in the back of our dp, it looks like quite a project.
Good luck and post pictures of the finished product.

One of these on eBay

2009 GULF STREAM CRESCENDO 325

The Gulf Streams are nice, but the garage is very small. I would like something that a can stand up in, or almost stand in.. around 6ft.

The Euro conversion red one in my first picture showing the garage is nice.

But like I said, the drive shaft on the pusher may be a problem.. I'll know more today after I crawl under it with a tape measure

I work for an axle manufacturer that supplies axles to freightliner custom chassis who builds and supplies the chassis for the rv body builders. You will run into issues with the frame rails before you ever get to the drive line. you will also have to lengthen and reroute air lines and chassis harnesses just to mention a couple things. It will be a hugh project to undertake. Good luck with it if you decide to move forward.

That's the first thing I thought of.
