this is where I am stuck at now, seems like the bolt has welded itself to the inner bearing surface, penetrating oil and hammer isnt working so I may have to move towards a torch and air hammer next but it looks as if this may be a common problem on these older bikes. I have been following Matt and his videos like this one

A good impact gun helps a lot in taking apart these old locked up bolts. I have a dewalt 18v cordless that works very well.

I have a 18V Milwaukee impact driver that I use but this is the very top bolt in the pic that go's through the frame as well and cant get to it with anything except wrench or breaker bar, Just snapped a 14mm 6 point socket, now looking to see if I have one thats a impact socket (thicker wall)

Got this on a trade and thought about doing a restoration on it, the guy told me it was a 1996 KX 125 and looking through pics on google this looks to be true, I was wanting to do a splitfire build like others have done on here and wanted to get some of your thoughts. I am new on here and this is my first post so hopefully ill get some good input and information, thanks in advance

Got any mechanic friends? If so they will more than likely have a strong air hammer/chisel that will make short work of that bolt. Expect to replace the bolt.
