Ok so Maffe gets docked to 8th for jumping on the red cross flag....WTF happened to 10 spots????
Should never of happened flagger was an idiot, flag wasn't unfurled and he should have been standing in front of the downed rider to keep him safe and motioning riders to the left....I thought Mickey Mouse was in Florida....

No, he runs CMRC, and has for years. Do try and keep up. CMRC has been a fucking gong show for as long as I can remember, and THAT'S well over 20 years.

Did anything ever come of the teams/riders disputing their penalties? I overheard the mx101 and redemption managers giving it to stallybrass about flaggers and docked positions after the second moto. "If 7 riders jump on a red it's obvious that nobody can see the flagger"

Jaffa received 10 place penalty, but he wasn't the only one. Three riders who finished behind him but before 10th place must have also received 10 place penalties. So under CMRCs bizarre rules he was in 11th then as each of the other riders were penalized, he would move up a spot. You would think they would shuffle the non penalized forward. In other words, if 4 riders were penalized, you would move all riders behind them forward 4 places, then slot in the penalized riders based on their finish +10 places.

More interestingly, Davi Milsaps has huge talent on a motorcycle. the dude is smooth on a bike and makes everything look so natural. Definitely a gifted rider. I enjoyed watching him today.

That pass on Alessi in moto 2 was unreal. Davi is poetry in motion, so dominant. Maybe the sand will help these other guys catch up to him? I doubt it...

Kevin,

I agree. I don't see the sand slowing down Davi. He just stands up on the pegs and flys. The bike can be moving like crazy, but his upper body is still.
