Im in the process( 2 years now Whistling ) of building 3 vintage Suzuki's. Since its taking me so long ,I decided to farm out one of the engines( the 125C engine) to Eric to make it a firebreather .So now when I went to contact him it says that he is closed and reopening on July 6th as Eric Gorr Racing. So have he and Millenium Tech split ? And apparently Millenium had acquired the rights to his "Forward Motion" name ,explaining why he is opening up under the new name ?? Somebody that knows the story please chime in here before I decide to send my stuff !! I need to feel warm and fuzzy .....

Thanks Bruce----However, I've emailed him at his new email address and haven't gotten a reply yet.Of course ,its only been 24 hours. Id still like to know a little more before I ship out my engine parts, not even sure WHERE to send at this point. Is he still operating out of the Pilgrim road location ?

Really? Has it been that bad ? Ive heard a LOT of good about the guy, hence the reason I was sending my work to him. While I was contemplating what to do and how far to go with the C engine ,he was very prompt and helpful with his responses to my questions. Im just became a little concerned about the apparent split from Millenium and restructuring his business module.

He was good to me when I had work done with him and 5h later a ring caught a port. Total mystery as the work he did was top notch. I took a bunch of pics and sent it to him to help me figure out what happened. He decided that one of the port bridges was too narrow (stock porting too) and swapped me a new cylinder for free.

I've sent several cylinders and engines to him over the years. Great work at very reasonable rates.

Yeah,he seems to be the " go to" guy, especially with the vintage 2stroke stuff. But I haven't heard from him on where/when to send my engine. I talked to a friend of his and this guy told me everything was cool and even gave me an alternate email address ,so I used it as well and still haven't heard anything. Of course ,this is vacation season,so he may be away from all electronics. I guess Ill wait till the end of the week and see what develops.

Thats a legacy email, so I.don't know if he still uses it.

If you aren't in a hurry, just let the guy setup his shop.

If you are, there are plenty of.shops out there that can help you.

Geez Bruce, not sure I like your tone young man.....lol. I realize there are a ton of places that can do what I want, and I have talked to quite a few of them, but I chose to try Eric. It just blindsided me by him not being there just when I pulled the trigger and was boxing up my stuff. Being that Ive taken 2 years to get this far on these 3,another couple weeks isn't going to kill me obviously... I was just trying to "gather the info " ---

Sorry dude, I wasn't trying to.come of negative.

It sounds like he is busy setting the shop up, and doesn't want to take any work until ready to rip.

Just bad luck for you about the bad timing.

All of the things I have sent to him, I have always been extremely pleased with his work, turn around time, attitude & his reach-ability (is that even a word?)

Eric Gorr does amazing work. I know he is always busy so I was always patient. Why rush such important work? It seems the negativity is from impatient people.

Funny how I sent him my 2002 CR250R cylinder that was ported by Tom Morgan. The bike didn't run great. Weird porting and squish. Eric laughed at the work. I had Eric port the cylinder and fix the squish. Completely different motor!
