It goes to show you any publicity is good publicity.
I had no idea Kelly Slater had a line of potato skin snacks or had an interest in Mx.

Something happened with a laser being used to make a girl cry and somehow lb and ma were involved.

Ma was given a choice between losing points or being evicted?

Meanwhile mcgrath's foot got cut in a tussle in a restaurant over switching to Suzuki and Marty tripes had a little miscue driving the getaway boat.

There, everybody up to speed?

I'm actually surprised it took this long for this to happen. It's not the first time either with said offender. I've witnessed and heard of multiple similar incidents from him in the past. Loose cannon with a short fuse, much like an immature child.

I'd like to amend my earlier comment about sponsors not having to pay the price for the team owner and mechanic. I was referring specifically to sponsors like Blue Buffalo and others who weren't there and had nothing to do with it. I didn't realize that Slater also has a Buisness that serves the moto industry. If people chose to not do business with Slater Racing, I completely understand and agree.

Looks like riders were Breese in 250 and LaMay in 450. What happened to Leib? Supercross only, parting of the ways or is he hurt?

KARMA is a bitch! it was just a matter of time, you can't go through life treating people like crap. I know Ryan and I both miss racing, but were extremely relieved to part ways with Mr Slater. For what it is worth throughout our whole ordeal with Slater, Dave at Blue Buffalo stepped up to the plate and kept all of Slaters empty promises with Ryan. Let Ryan keep his practice bikes and rewrapped our motor home the whole 9 yards. Even went over and above to help us when our 4 year old English bulldog came down with cancer. Blue Buffalo is a stand up company and think the world of them, very good people. People like Slater on the other hand it's just a matter of time, all you got to do is sit back and watch! DC hats off to you for the way you handled it, those riders are going through more then you know on that team, I promise. Bill Dill is a stand up guy too, glad to know him.

So my take away is this:

Hopefully Blue Buffalo gets linked up with a real team not ran by ass clowns before they write off the entire sport for ever

Michael Lieb (contrary to my earlier comment that he was finally 100 percent) had a SX deal only. Michael basically raced SX on leg due to a lingering issue. He'd wear out one boot's sole but the other's sole looked new.

Michael impressed me as much (possibly even the most) as any racer I've ever met back in August 2012 at the Matterly Basin GP. He is one very mature and grounded individual. Michael will be as asset to any team on the bike or off the bike or whenever he goes in life. This young man has a good head on his shoulders for sure.

Yes I'm a huge Michael Lieb fan.

Shane disrespecting a woman white or black is wrong. The fact race was used is a racist comment and not called for at all. If nothing was said about this at all it only lets this escalate into something else. I might be wrong because I have not been to other events but I have heard there have been issues before with him. I hope he learns you get farther in life being nice. If he feels he and his mechanic do not need to apologize to anyone I'm sorry for them. We as MX family know better. Let's let him know if he can change he could be welcomed back. The Ball is in his hands and let's see how he plays, as a team or alone.

1 final question, should the van have been allowed to go in?

Is that why they went off on her?

Not justifying their actions in any way but security can be over the top when they shouldn't, and annoy the heck out of people when they should be where they are.

If they were trying to scam their way in, that makes them look even worse!

Security said no, it was after the curfew , anyone knows that going batshit crazy on security never ends in admittance, then given the chance to calm it down they continued on to the point credentials were pulled,

The only real question is how many races if any should they be allowed to attend, I think a 3 race suspension would be appropriate unless they want to continue to be assholes. Then it's bye bye for good.

Agreed!

My experience in life with people that go out of control like that is that there are bigger problems that are going on and then the 1 little thing pushes them over the top.....typically money problems

Broc, thank you for taking time out of your day to truly discuss the topic with Honesty and being big enough to acknowledge the team's mistakes. It truly is great to hear the other side of this story. Glad to hear it seems resolved. Best of luck in the rest of the season and beyond as a rider and as an employee of the race team!

Most of all, I want to stress how great of a job Ryan Breece and Ben Lamay did at performing through the circumstances. All of us being riders know how stressful race days are without something like this happening. They deserve a ton of credit and never said one word complaining about the situation. Extremely happy and proud of them. Thank you guys for understanding as well. We are working really hard and I appreciate you guys' understanding and support.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, but some things you are saying are not adding up. First, there is another poster in this thread who was there and they are telling a story much different than yours. Secondly, you are making your guys out to be innocent and saying that your team (for unknown reasons) was misrepresented. That doesn't add up, and it's just too hard to believe that members of your team were kicked out if they were really innocent in this whole ordeal. It sounds to me like some people lost their tempers and if that's the case, the best thing to do is own up to it and apologize. I'm not attacking you, I'm just saying that looking at it from the outside, it seems like some people on your team (and perhaps others) lost their temper and said some things.

MxBroc111 you heard the story of your people, I heard from several Factory teams around your pit and why would a CSC Security guard go off unless she was attacked. There was no reason any of this would have happened if the one person followed direction that were the same for everyone. If you ride for them you know of other issues your owner has been involved in outdoors and indoors and this information comes from people who are in charge at the races. We never accused the riders of any wrong doing and on that fact our security head went to Davey and John and asked to let the riders race. Everyone one under the tent before or Security got there were involved but only 2 were the biggest trouble makers and asked to leave. Your story is second hand. I saw a first hand of your team owners actions. I hope the team gets it sorted out.
