In a bizarre twist of irony, the defender of the webcast fee can't purchase the webcast. I've been clicking on the link for over an hour, and I can only get as far as the "Supercross Live! Webcast Store" page. When I click on the link to purchase, though, the page won't come up. Anyone else having problems with the purchase link?

Use the link in the sticky post at the top of the page. Had the same problem with you. The webcast page thing is a last minute pile and it shows.

Getting the same trouble with that purchase link, though the links to the other stuff all work for me. I'll just keep trying.

I'm getting a box saying that a firewall is blocking the connection. It says my Windows firewall is correctly configured to allow the connection, but some kind of remote firewall is blocking it. Any solutions?

Pops right up for me, not buying, just trying to help out.

Try using firefox instead of IE.

Turn off pop-up blockers and disable your firewall and see if that helps out. Try using FIREFOX instead of explorer.

mozilla firefox

Check your info bar at the top of the browser if you're using IE and click the "allow pop ups from this site if you haven't.
That was the only thing I had to do and I am listening in as we speak.....err well write.

Try this:

if you have access to firewall blocking then
configure the firewall to allow connections through TCP Port 80.

I wonder if anyone got it working in Linux. I had no problems listening the last few years but it doesn't seem to work with the pay system. Oh well, looks like I'm off the hook for the cash this way...

No luck. When I clicked on "Diagnose connection problems," it instructed me to configure to allow through TCP Port 80. I googled Vista instructions to do that, did it, and still no luck. Never had any problems connecting in the past. Looks like a season of next day TV for me.Sad

Thumpa the problem is Vista.
You could even be having this issue because of the DRM that is part of the OS.

Maybe the folks running the cast can work on a Vista fix.

Sucks for you, but really what did you expect? I mean they put a whole 3 days into it? Maybe 20 bucks the first year would of been better, get all the kinks woked out, then next year when it is working flawless, and people want it, up the price.
Gotta worry about a new company coming in thinking it was a good idea to do away with the web cast in the first place.

I'm sure next week will be better.
