Is $4,000 a little high for an 11 year old bike? Looks super clean though. How many hours?

$4000 seems about right, seeing that a) Suzuki no longer makes 2 strokes b) most 05+ 250 smokers are priced 3000-4500 range and I've seen some not so great looking ones. GLWS op.

That's cool...especially since it was probably less than $6000 new.

Yep, from a resale stand point a well taken care of 2 stroke is always higher than a 4 stroke.

Could just post in the for sale section and avoid possibility of people calling it out as too high/low priced? Whistling

You don't need to show tits for breast cancer awareness but it gets a lot more views.

Huck , I'm not really sure on how many hours it has on it. Going by compression compared to my 06' which has about 20-22hrs on it , it feels about the same or maybe slightly more compression. And honestly , I think this bike had an odd life. I don't think it's ever hit an MX track. I think maybe the guy did some trail riding or possibly in a field. There is only a little wear on the frame and engine cases. There is little to no knicks or dings on the upper fork tubes like you would get from roost at a MX track.

The kick starter , shifter , brake lever , foot pegs and the entire rear end feel brand new. Like NO slop....any where. The only blemish is a scratch on the front fender. When I bought it from Scott at Hillsboro motosports , he said that one of his friends bought it brand new in California a long time ago. From what he said the guy hit a wooden fence with it and then parked it. I don't know....but I do know it's had some run time on it. I just have no idea what the guy was doing with it...obviously not MX.

Anyways....that's about all i know about it. I originally bought it because I had never seen an 05' this clean before. Or any older RM this clean before.
