Hey I got a 1979 rm125 last year and me and my dad rebuilt and gone through the bottom end and got it running great. It has also been bored out to a 56mm piston and we put a huge carb (38mm) on the bike. I am worried if I am too big for the bike. I am about 6-4 and weigh about 260

The truth is that bike with your size will not do well at all on a track. I would be afraid of a major issue happening while riding it becasue of your size, like a catastrophic frame malfunction. The bike just wasn't meant for someone of that size riding it on a track. Trails you can get away with it more, but the suspension should be majorly changed. You're 100 pounds over what the stock settings would be setup for.
Good luck, but keep it safe.
