So.. I am starting to plan a trip to Mxdn in September and need some tips.. so if you have any, please share.
My plan is to fly to Milan and rent motorcycles there and experience Maggiora the best I can!
I am wondering, where is the best place to stay?
Any other thing to do in the area that is worth checking out?
Anyone else going?
Goodvibes

If I didn't have a toddler and an infant I'd be trying to go to MXDN this year. I'm jealous. Have fun!

You will surely find something in Milan, but I don't think there's anything left near the track.
You can try this: https://www.airbnb.it/s/Maggiora--NO?guests=2&checkin=24-09-2016&checko…
I live near the circuit (not so near, 30/40min)
you can stay near the lake, for example in Laveno Mombello, o in near villages like Arona Angera ecc..., sure you can find place to sleep in Milan but near the lake (lakes) there are a lot of beatifull small villages!
Sure, camping at the track is a incredibile experience
Sure, camping at the track is an incredible experience, as DeStouwer said, you won't sleep one single second
if you need something else i'm here! :-)
That was just a GP, and the MXdN is usually much more intense at night!
If the paddock for camping is going to be laid out the same as it was for last year's GP, and you fancy any sleep at all, I'd recommend staying away from the track. You can park not too far away on both days and walk for a few kilometers. Or if you're on bikes I'm sure you could park much closer.
As for checking other stuff out while you're there, definitely ride the Stelvio Pass. It's a spectacular road, and the weather in September is usually very good. Easily one of the most scenic roads in the world!
