Back in the day my brother and I were racing down a twisty dirt road on our dirt bikes . I came around a corner and there were some crazy skid marks in the dirt, and up ahead my brother had pulled off. He said a whitetail deer had ran across the road right in front of him and he dam near hit it . He was pretty freaked out and ever since then I have always had that in the back of my mind when I burning down back roads . I'm always keeping a watch out for wildlife, I will do everything I can to avoid hitting them, but if it is between me hitting them or another vehicle I'm going to be running over the unlucky animal. Sometimes they should have zigged instead of zagged !

The dog obviously tried to take that guy out.... Probably saw that fucker buying sale dog food made from pure garbage instead of spending a few bucks more and feeding them real food

There are lots of loose dogs in Baja. They will come at you and run into your front spokes. I have a trick where I can hook my boot under their chin and flip 'em over before they get mangled in my front wheel. It doesn't really hurt the dog, and we are both safer for it.
i've had to dodge more dead dogs in the Baja than live dogs, the "pet cemetery" situation down there is pretty bad lol

I don't ride on the street anymore. In the car, you just plow over and go huh....that sucked. On the bike, it's a big ass deal

I make a quick run at'em and pin it...backs them off EVERYTIME.

We have PLENTY of these encounters in The Rip and never have a problem.

Yes, the circle of life is more visible in Baja. I saw a dead whale on the beach about 6 weeks ago. It was small- probably born during the winter. Dead whales do not smell good, BTW.

oh yeah, dead whales and seals are not the best fragrance ripping down the beach. while it's neat to get close to see them you instantly regret it once you get down wind

So the guy who crashed was carrying a gun on his hip. That is one kind of protective gear I've never seen before. Blink
