That was from back in 2000, I think.

I have seen him many times, in Indy, Chicago, Ft Wayne, Dayton, and Cleveland. Most recently at Eric Clapton's crossroads guitar festival.

The guy amazes me, and I have seen many of the greats. I took a buddy who saw Hendrix back in the day to see Joe at the House of Blues in Chicago, and he turned to me and said 'this guy is better than Hendrix!'

I don't know about that, but for sure he is the best I have seen.

He has a new cd out with a new band called Black Rock Communion, which is a bit heavy metal, with Glen Hughes from Black Sabbath and Deep Purple on bass, Jason Bonham on drums, and Derek Sherinen (Dream Theatre) on keyboards.
