hahaha...I was so glad to hear the forecast when they said that shit was actually going south of us.

But, no matter. It seems my yard and track won't dry out anytime soon. The ground is saturated enough that water bubbles up out of it. Can't dry out quick enough.

Shit, I have to beg guys and pay them $10.00 an hour to help haul hay. I also buy lunch as well....and "round up" their pay. If they work 6 hours, I'll give them $70.00.

I'm still short handed and am typically hauling it myself in the dark!!!

Huck when I was in high school, they paid us .10 cents a bale to haul hay and we were thrilled to get the work. No BS. You could get .15 cents per if you provided your own truck.
My very first job I got a penny a bale.

I drove to Colorado last year to go snowboarding. Living in TX my whole life helped me in no way. Blew my mind to see people blowing by me like it was bright and sunny out when I couldnt see a damn thing 20 ft in front of me.

We did not lose the war of northern agression, we just ran out of bullets. How can you lose when the other side cannot even hit a target with an automatic weapon?

Hays cheap this year. Premium Alfalfa going for between $135-$145 per ton with the lowest grade about $75. Last year we topped out at $275/ton with the cheap stuff being $205/ton.
