30% over MSRP is peanuts in the hop up world. I remember one of RV's supermini's getting claimed.

I read a really good article about Alessi's ordeal on line somewhere.....Im thinking it was on Impound MX (no pun intended) or Amateur MX.

Something about Tony having to bring $10k in cash to the races......and all of the claims must be in CASH!

A local shop around here had Alessis/Chatfields 80 on display at there shop for a long time. Cant remeber which shop though

Wow so basically if I attended any of the big AMA Amateur races I can get as close to a works bike as possible for 30% more than KBB? With the kind of money some of these dad's and team's (PC and Geico Factoy Connection) put into these race bikes that would be a steal considering what it costs for motor work or high end suspension work like RG3's top of the shelf diamond kit.... I have that diamond kit on one of my bikes and it is the most impressive suspension I have even ridden on hands down. I pulled it off a bike that I bought a year ago and don't want to give it up!

Couple things, you have to be racing in the same class the bike you are claiming is.
If you're racing B and the bike is in A, you can't claim it.
You will have to have MSRP + 30% IN CASH

I think the 30% might have been ok for a two stroke but now engine mods are way more than whatthey used to be. Still sounds like a steal if you have the balls to do it especially if they have any trick suspension on top of a good motor.
