I can't believe ANYONE buys stuff from Sidewinder. The only thing I can figure is they make so much profit on so little volume that they can keep it going. Their reputation has been terrible for years. I would never buy Anything from them!

I have had extremely good luck with Sidewinder. I put the trimetal on my GSXR 7/11 with the "ti" chain and it worked well and wore very well with 165 HP beating on it. I have also run their stuff on my 525 KTM (when I still owned it) with great results. I will admit I have never had a warranty issue though. I put the Renthal twin ring with the renthal x ring chain on my RM250 and it is doing okay but not great. I will have to replace it soon and it only has about 35 or 40 rides on it. Maybe 40 hours of ride time? That is alot I know but nothing compared to how long my Sidewinder stuff lasted.

Sprockets lasting is all about the chain quality. Buy new sprockets and put an old worn out chain on and the sprocket will be spitting teeth in no time.

I haven't ever had any grief with them. Their sprockets wear like iron.

First point in Moto, there is no warranty unless you know your parts guy at the local shop like a best friend.

Second, chain and sprocket issues can come many different things. Rock in the drive train, loose axel nut, and so on which none of falls under a warranty claim..

The "warranty" covers only a manufacturer defect. As some have said here, not to easy to prove.
