if you finish 8th or better in the expert class at the arenacross world finals on AMATEUR day

whaaa? thats kinda easy, ive seen some real squirles race that class and do good.. then theyre gonna go race sx? i must have read it wrong, correct me if i am

They want to fill the gates it seems, as well as promote their Arenacross races. It wasn't that long ago that you could show up, get your pro license and sign up the day of the race at a national with no one knowing who you are. It's come a long ways.

They want to fill the gates it seems, as well as promote their Arenacross races. It wasn't that long ago that you could show up, get your pro license and sign up the day of the race at a national with no one knowing who you are. It's come a long ways.
When was that???

In 1982 I had to play the paperwork shuffle between AMA Pro Racing & my district.

Maybe they should actually pay the pro riders to come and race. There is a novel idea. So instead they just want the gates filled with riders that might not be at the skill level needed. That is bad for the sport from all angles. Pay these guys well to show up and race and not charge them to race and it wont be an issue.
