spoke with him today and he seems to be in good thoughts.... his whole family is there and its helpn him out this this.. an email account has been set up for people who would like write him.. its supportll27@hotmail.com....... he has a computer in the room so he checks it all the time.. we r settn up a web site for him to keep the support going.. Tom morn he will have two rods placed in his back so please keep him in ur thoughts tom... also he has been in contact with differnt rehab centers... he said he will get through this with all the support with friends and family...

My son Ricky called him this afternoon to give him some words of encouragement. How old is Leighton by the way? I'm checking into what Clinical trials might be avalible for him.

He is in his 20s. I believe he's around 25? I don't know for sure, just something I read earlier.

That's what I was thinking, Ricky's dad. If there was ever a time to become paralyzed (there isn't, but...) there are a lot of things happening along the lines of a cure right now.

Thanks, I found out on one of leighton's websites that he's 25, I needed to check because most clinical trials require that you are at least 18.

Make sure someone gets him the Mike Garrison story on www.mostatemx.com.
He had a spinal cord injury racing and went to china to get stem cell treatment and has some promising progress.

yes leighton is 25 years old about to turn 26....he is surgey as we speek in tulsa and should remain there for at least a week or soo... thats so great that ricky calld him.. its funny me and leighton were watchn something on tv not to long ago about ricky and he was saying how much respect he had for him for what he has gone through and how he has turned it around into something great... thanks again for all the support and lets all hope for a full recovery....
