Now that he has linkage again, he can't do better than 9th?

I thought the lack of linkage was the problem. What's the reason now?

Don't get me wrong, I like him as a rider, I just don't buy the whole linkage/no linkage debate.

Everyone kept blaming past years results on the linkage. I don't buy it.
He is a very good rider, no doubt, I just don't buy the linkage argument.

Well he went from consistant top 5's with MDK honda to his KTM results. I know the competition has gotten stiffer but his results are already comparable if not better than the KTM results and he's not completly set up yet. I'd say it has already made a difference.

When did Nick say he was blaming the linkage on his results? Or are you just assuming he is?

Everyone else was using that as to why his results dropped from MDK Honda.
I don't believe he ever said anything publicly.

he has a glorified pick up truck. Or the "titanic" as the YoT semi has been rightfully called. He has the BEST suspension tuner helping him, Ross from Enzo. As far as engine development goes its w/e his team comes up with for him.

So he's pulling the same results on a privateer Yamaha, that he was on a factory KTM? Interesting.

$10 says he's beating factory guys on a regular basis by the end of the season.

he started training w/ Randy Lawrence again. Who is also training RV, JW, so hes riding w/ someone who is faster than him. That usually helps anyone that races, having someone to push you never hurts.

So basically we have learned that a Privateer bike with linkage is equal to or possibly better than a Full Factory bike without a linkage.

and you forgot to add its a Private Team Yamaha to boot. Poor NYK he just never gets a break first no linkage, now no FI. Really must suck to him.

Then again he's still boning the hottest wife in the pits. I guess God gives and he takes away....
