Here is No Spin Zone's summary of what Obama has done right:

a) He has proposed the correct plan for both stimulating the economy and paying our bills.

b) Made the correct judgment on whether or not to attack Iraq, and for the right reasons (to concentrate on bin Laden)

c) Has an understanding of global politics (much better than Mr. Bomb Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran) and the global economy and has ideas to fix it.

d) Has proposed a healthcare system that doesn't bankrupt people who get sick



Why didn't you want to discuss any of those points 3 pages back? You called them opinions and ideas. But proposing the correct plan, IMO, is the most important step in leading the nation in the right direction

I'm willing to roll the dice on BO as much for what he hasn't done than what he has done. He hasn't shown himself to be a cowboy. He hasn't shown himself to be catering to corporate America at the expense of the middle class. He hasn't chosen a complete disaster as his VP. And he hasn't flip-flopped all over the map as McCain has done.

As far as policy, I disagree with more of McCain's proposals than BO's. However, I understand that those are all little more than campaign promises at this point. Under the best of circumstances there's no guarantee how much either one of them would be able to implement. Under the present financial mess, I doubt even a fraction of their plans could be implemented. Either one of them will be too busy trying to deal with the mess they inherit.

Matt, if you're trying to point out that BO does not have a huge amount of experience under his belt .... most people already know that.
