It wasn't meant to make him cry. Everyone has an opinion and I was simply stating it. You asked a question.....I answered.
He might start crying when his ass ends up in jail and he drops the soap for the first time though.

Just kidding
So being a "winner" means everything then eh? Where do you draw the line on sponsorship then? As long as they are winning, you can dismiss their conduct?
Just kidding
Never been arrested or had any real problems with the cops other then a couple of speeding tickets on my way to the atlanta sx. I guess i am not "normal" though because I don't have 10 violations of any kind.....darn.

If he's winning and not in jail he will always have a sponser.

Yeah that would suck hopefully that guy with 10 was kidding.
Tell them you are racing to see a race, they will leave you alone.
Always having a sponsor, and always having a good sponsor that pays top dollar is totally different. I would have to assume or I'd like to believe it to be true, that most sponsors would take someones off track behavior as well as on track behaviour into account on who they sponsor.
In the NFL, NBA,MLB and Nascar if a player has police contact for illegal activity they are served with massive fines. Maybe if the AMA/Live Nation/Daytona Motorsports Group would hit him with a $200,000 fine he might stop these stupid actions.

Sure they do. But like I said if a guy is winning or can win he will have some one step up for him.
Damn he didn't rape anyone or kill anyone. And yes I know DUI's are awful because he could put someones life in danger while driving. But he is a kid. No excuse but still a lot of people in the US have gotten DUI's I mean a lot!

I like Jason's grandfather as a friend. He has always been kind and honorable with me.
I would help Jason at his request or out of my friendship with him.
That said, many "bad boys" in sports garner and keep various sponsors, Dennis Rodman being one example.
You have to look at how the majority perceives the person.
Some find the bad boy image fresh and exciting rather than stale and boring.

I agree with you 110% dave....we had this discussion at LL's. I cringe everytime he does something stupid.

So your saying it's alright that he got a DUI since alot of other people have gotten one to? That's pathetic.
Ok so we get him and Letica together with a video camera and we have a gold mine. New reality series!!!!
You guys need to see the ol' procto docto about getting that stick removed from yer' ass.
The amount of hand wringing that goes on in here is priceless...
