Agreed. He needs to put the pressure on.... anything can happen. Did you get a smoker?

Man, I was going to be very impulsive, and irresponsible and get one on credit, instead, I'm going to save some money and hopefully buy one in the next couple months. I will get one, just not now. My thumper will suffice for now.

Smart choice!
On the last lap, Reed's bike started blowing steam out the pipe...out the silencer...at that point, I knew e was dead unless he could nurse it home.
With about 1/4 lap left, it slowed and then stopped.
Never started again
Wrong.
Reed showed a lot of talent, he owned it

Wow you knew he would either finish or not finish, you were on top of that one!
Pit Row
Did you see the flame coming out the exhaust right before it quit and the loss of compression? My guess would be a broken valve.

He finished 11 laps, so basically he is place right behind the last guy on that lap.

I did catch that. I would think a bent, stuck or broken valve too. You could see the bike appeared to kick really light when Reed tried to fire it up again, no compression likely.
First time watching a motocross race? He lapped up to sixth place, bike quit on the last lap.
