Going to be in the Clearwater area (work related) the week prior, just wondering if I should book for a few days earlier to make the huck over to Daytona.

Hell yes you should. Clearwater's only about 140 miles from Daytona. If you're going to be that close you might as well go.

Ran directions on google and it says about 2 hrs.

If you are interested in checking out some practicing/racing, there are 4-5 tracks within about an hour of Clearwater that run practices during the week. PM me if you would like some info on them.
