That ain't no YZ( in my best Texas accent)! MX250. I picked up one of those several years back for free with the motor in pieces. Passed it on to someone else without robbing the front end off of it, my mistake. Also had a pretty nice 75 MX400. Talk about rattle your teeth out. All I remember about those as a kid is that two brothers in the neighborhood had a pair of them and they would rip down the street daily headed to the sandpit near the house. Those things seemed awesome until twenty plus years later when I bought one! Let it go way too cheap though.

Considering a '73 XR 75 was going to over $7grand on E-bay not long ago; yeah agree way too cheap.

wow michael what a memory jogger, i remember him well. I was passed by neil more than once that's for sure.

come to think of it he was the only guy i recall that i never did/could pass while i was racin in norcal. also the only guy that went by magoo like danny was goin backwards, on a 125 no less and i bet he outweighed danny by 25lbs. the fastest ever from norcal in my opinion and could have easily won a few titles i think. looked very unusual for a mxer too....you never would have guessed he was that badass on a scooter.

There was a young man in the S.E. by the name of Furman Gray that went real fast on a 400 of the same vintage. Led Anaheim 75 for a few laps untill his wheel exploded.
