hole underside crankcase RM250 '10

It's me again, after welding the frame I am checking the underside of my bike for cracks a lot and I noticed a small hole in de crankcase:



Nothing is leaking out of there, I am wondering if it can do damage and if I should fix it.

It is hard to tell from the picture you posted but if that small hole is in the inner clutch cover under the water pump it is called the water pump weep hole. When the water pump shaft seal fails, coolant will drip from the hole telling you the seal has failed. If this is the case, do not plug it. In fact it would be a good idea to make sure the weep hole is not blocked with dirt .

The hole is along the split line of the cases, so not the inner clutch cover. I'll make some better pictures and post them.

It looks like where the engine mount bolt goes through. I would imagine it's a drain for if water were to get in there but I'm not incredibly familiar with the suzukis.
