Hi,
I am about to sell my yz450f -15 and buy a 350.
I did a 3 lap test ride on my friends husky 350 and I liked how it turned and the engine was fun.
I have done some googleing and found out that the things that is different between husky and KTM is: "While we didn’t have a Husqvarna FC 350 to compare, the bikes only differ in slight changes to the airbox and the material of the subframe, with the Husqvarnas also fitted with Dunlop MX52s while KTMs use MX32s. If you like the 2016 KTM 350 SX-F, you’ll like the 2016 Husqvarna FC 350, as it is essentially a set of MX32 tires from being a KTM."
The KTM bike in US has the 4CS forks and in europe it has WP AER forks. From motocross action " The 2016 forks will be replaced with much better performing WP AER forks in 2017".
I live in europe so I will get the AER forks if I buy a KTM.
The husky got the 4CS, right?
I read that someone with a husky changed his silencer to a KTM silencer and got it to reev out better. Is it any difference on the pipes?
If I going to buy a aftermarket exhaust, wich should I pick? FMF or Yoshi?

Just get the one with the best dealer support in your area.
If you ride in the higher RPM's get the FMF - The power is delivered mostly in the higher revs with this system. If you want a more linear power delivery, go with an Akrapovic set up. Not sure about the Yosh.
I know this will be hard to believe, but the stock exhaust set ups on both offer really good performance. I'd ride with the stock exhaust first then see if you really need to spend the money.
Regardless of which 350 you get, make sure to put it in sport mode (module in the airbox connected to the switch on the handlebar). Makes a HUGE difference in performance.

Dont know if the KTM bikes in europe got the same restricted muffler..(?)
But it seems like the KTM got the better fork and maybe better muffler too.
My lokal dealer got both the KTM and the Husky
I have done some pro racing a couple of years back but now I just ride for fun and do some lokal races so I think a 350 is the way to goo =)
I saw a article online on aftermarket pipes for the KTM 350 2014 and the yoshi made the most power and the riders was able to ride a higher gear in some places, FMF was second so I guess both will do the job..
But as you say, I am going to ride it stock first and see how it works.
On my yz450f I got FMF slip on and yoshi full system but I prefered stock actually. The yoshi was nice on deep sand tracks cause it gave the bike a little bit more top end. The FMF I didnt like at all.
