Front brake disc cross bike compatability

Hi guys,

I have a 2004 kx125, I am looking to purchase at moto master oversized front disc ( with adapter, 270mm). Slight issue though is that according to their site they don't make them to fit my bike..

So I am wondering if there are any other models of bike ( kxf 250 2006 ? ) that would have the same hub dimensions ( unless something else needs matching too) so that I can purchase the disc and have it fit..

I would have thought that if this was the case they would have listed the disc as an option for my bike but as you guys are the pros here thought it was worth asking

Is there a particular reason you need to have the Moto Masters oversized 270mm kit ? EBC makes a nice 270mm kit that will bolt right up to your bike with no issues, and for a reasonable price. http://www.powersportsuperstore.com/EBC-OS6213C-Oversized-Contoured-Bra…

Rich is running the Moto Master rear brake disc at the moment, so best to stick to the same brand for the front. I believe the 04-06 KXF/RMZ discs will fit the KX no problem, but can anyone clarify if the later years have any differences in the hub design?

Its been a while but I am thinking the steel framed KXF/RMZ's used suzuki parts except for the engine, the 06+ used all kawi parts. The reason that sticks in my mind is I have a front hub from a steel framed one and one of the guys I ride with said his rotor from his 06 kx wouldn't fit it.

04-05 kxf/RMZ will fit

06+ KX/KXF will not fit

These are the only hubs that are compatible with yours.

This Item Fits the Following Applications:
2004-2006 Suzuki RMZ250, Application: Front
2004-2005 Kawasaki KX250F, Application: Front
2003-2005 Kawasaki KX250, Application: Front
2003-2005 Kawasaki KX125, Application: Front

unfortunately Moto Master doesn't sell a 270mm front disc kit for the above listed hubs.

Thanks for the reply guys, seems like I can't have an oversized disc, shame but at least I know now...

EBC make a kit? As does tusk and braking...
