I wouldn't be surprised if he's done for the year or for good. He's not motivated, you can see it. He's still fast, but not fit and to be in contention at that level you have to be motivated to put in long grueling hours through the week. I think James doesn't have the desire to do that.

I hope James never comes back if he's not 100% healed & at risk for a serious injury. I firmly believe his issues are caused by residual effects from the A1 concussion...and he may not be the best judge of whether he's healed or not...

I'd like to see him be at Supercross for the fans. He's obviously not in the title hunt. Focus on training for the outdoors

There is nobody that can deny that James was a huge influence to the sport.
To have James come back is a catch 22, no not chase Chad. If he does poorly
it ruins the legacy. If he does well people will say get out of the way of the
championship chase. (BTW I know it's a done deal, just saying)
I prefer to remember a different James, the one with the magic,
We have not seen that in a while. For what ever the reasons we do or do not know
I am very fortunate to have been a spectator during those awesome years.

This. Winning or losing James is one of the most dynamic riders on the track. He races with his whole heart. Spare me the "he pulls off bullshit". Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor.
