Pull up your pants dickhead, and think about investing in a belt.

The "new" trend is slimmer pants on snowboarders and baggy on those jerk offs on twin tips. Some look like they're wearing a burka. XXL everything.

Hah! Harlaut is one special dude! X-games gold winner with pants around his knees, think what he could do with a belt on?

Yep....Real snowboarders and skiers wear taped seam water proof gear and pull their pants up. "Park rat city kids" basically wear street clothes and look/dress like gangster rappers from the 90's, they wear bank robber face masks even when its like 70' spring riding. Up here, we call it being "YoYo-d" out. I can not wrap my head around the Park Skier fashion now days, pants 4XL around your knees while wearing an XXXL basketball jesrsey down to your knees on your twin tip skis, like Jibber park rider snowboarders from Colorado 10 years ago in videos(ie Mark Frank Montoya etc). Another trend that makes me want to puke is skiers who ski without poles, I asked one of the park rats the other day if he does it so he can give his buddies hand jobs on the chair lift....
As for the OP, I ski 50+days a year and the Skiers fashion is far more Ghetto/NBA style than the snowboards in the last few seasons.

I was in Tignes two weeks ago and a French snowboarder got on the bus wearing the most ridiculous clothes I've ever seen. How he actually managed to board I'll never know.

They were building the pipe for the Halfpipe World Cup the following week and he'd been testing it out for them.

Fitted pants are awesome for boarding...

And I have to say, after 3 seasons at Vail Resorts, which includes Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin and Vail, my wife and I are switching to the Winter Park and Copper Mountain season pass.

Vail Resorts is everything that is wrong with the ski industry!

I'd suggest putting your big boy pants on and getting into the backcountry... Better yet, just keep you shitty attitude at the resorts

Nice.

When I want to feel like a tough guy I leave the suspenders hanging. Mostly I just wear them properly and stay dry like you. No cold ass crack for this guy.

Hey, stranger.

I don't think one group over the other has upper hand in bad fashion.

i haven't snowboarded in about 8 years, back then it was "cool" to have slightly baggy pants. i bought into it and would feel like an idiot wearing them now. though, i never sagged them, i too like a nice dry ass-crack

I wear the same shit for boarding the last 25 years. Stay dry, wick, layer, repeat
Wolf Creek Pass. Problem solved.
Same approach to backpacking and adventure touring. Everything is functional. Including your vehicle. If you can't sleep in it....WTF?

Got a pair of Analog Highmark bibs this season and there's nothing like having goretex on a soggy or deep day.

Grouping all snowboarders into the dickhead-baggy-pant stereotype would be like me stereotyping most skiers as the Helly Hensen wearing, ski three times a year at a major resort, spends more time apres wining and dining than actually being on the hill and is also extremely entitled type of skier. Now that's a run on sentence.
