Anyone have any tricks to minimize it or alleviate it after the fact? I'm looking more for natural cures, not just shoving pain killers in me. I'm headed back to the track today after going through about a tank and a half of fuel at the track yesterday, and I'm pretty sore. Wanna try the new ride out at Thunder Valley today...gotta go run down some of those 4-stroke modern marvels...heh heh heh....

So, for guys who can't get in the saddle enough, but who do workout about 5 times a week, the ride still gets at muscles in ways I've never been able to completely cross-train for. Ya gotta ride.
That said, what are some of the sore-muscle remedies?
Braaaaaaaaaaap !
It's not that the guy is dating sheep, but damn, it's the ugliest in the herd !
Pit Row
At my last race in November I was so stiff I literally could not swing my leg over the bike by the last moto. I knew something had to be done about my spine/pelvis/hip issues.
So now it's yoga for 30 minutes every morning with my gf. Yes, there are some kind of gay-feeling poses but it is worth it.
Back pain eliminated
hip coming along...general body stiffness GONE.
Weights will make you tight and more sore. It's not really what you want.
So get a yoga DVD and do it every day, and stretch at night. BTW I am 41 years old, so age is no excuse.
I use this girl, she is awesome: http://www.wailana.com/yoga/videos/easyseries.php

"White folks are into yoga. You can't get no nut doing no yoga.."
It might not be the most manly activity, but Stewart does yoga according to Racer X.
Since everyone always thinks Im full of shit, I'll keep it to myself. Maybe call some "Doctor" and see if they know. You know that out of shape doc that prescribes a slew of shit for a snot nosed kid with a sneeze.
Maybe call a doctor that goes to the gym 7 days and ask him. You'll get a different answer. Or hell, just ask some meathead walking out of the local gym. If he knows anything, he'll know more than doc 1 above prolly give you an answer along the lines of doc 2.,.
Good luck.
What's the "oil based" you mention in your first sentence? You gonna prescribe more Castor Oil? I'm up for that. Just got back from Thunder Valley, and, although I was tired on the bike, I feel better now than I did last night or this morning. Those smokers give me wood.
Do I need to bust out my MD?
Hell, Heres a little tidbit. One of the best fat burners is a simple asthma medicine.
I havent kept up on this stuff in 12 years.
It still interests me though, I just dont keep up on all the goodies anymore.
I just read the answers, Ha and I thought I was first to it.
