Anyone try the "Outlaw Racing" or "Tusk" brake pedal? Do they compare to "Hammerhead"

Ebay has these folding tip brake pedals for 56 bucks. They are different than Tusk or Moose and look like the pedal itself is beefier. I have heard that the stock pedal itself is stronger than even the Hammerhead ones. That's why I recently put a folding tip on a stock pedal for a buddy that came out real nice but I really like the black pedal over the stock bare aluminum however I am not willing to sacrifice looks for strength especially because where I am riding lately has harsh terrain and is bending the pedal out allot. Thanks in advance for any input!

Call a local anodizer or plating company and ask when they have a run of black going and ask if they would include your pedal. Most places will toss it in for about $20-30 bucks. Then you have a black stock pedal and saved some money

I think PitPosse sells the Outlaw Racing and Tusk products. I might be wrong though. (Although, it sounds like you've ruled out the Tusk brand) You might try their website to compare some products. Just my two cents. pitposse.com

Dtat, I didn't know anodizing places did that but it makes sense if they have a batch going anyway. Appreciate the tip!

Ryan I haven't ruled out the Tusk but just by looks it doesn't look like it has as much material. I'm just trying to get the best bang for the buck ya know. Thanks for the site I'll check it out

I usually like Tusk producst for some applications but a friend had one for his 2016 Husky 85 and it fit like crap. Had to grind clearance and ended up pulling it off................

Good to know, looks like I might just modify the stock one. Here a pic of the stock one that I put the breakaway tip on for my friend. Tip was only twenty bucks plus I spent 3 on materials for the brake snake.

I was tempted to buy an aftermarket pedal awhile back. After reading a bunch of reviews on all the brands it seemed people still thought the stock pedal was the best.

I only have one experience with hammerhead but it's the shifter, the billet one not the cheap forged one. I was not impressed at all by how it held up, I put the stock one back on after a month. Idk about the other products but I thought the shifter was crap exp. for the price

Compare oem price to the others
